British Tradition.
Anne, Duchess of Bedford, took a late afternoon tea break and turned it into a recognized fourth meal. Breakfast. Lunch. Afternoon Tea. Dinner.
The British way. Now thatsinfluence. Makes me think I should be doing more to cause a stir.
Of course, afternoon tea is not to be confused with elevenses or your little ten-minute mid-morning tea break, nor is it to be confused with high tea, which is in the evening.
There are many other intricate details to plot out, such as the food: scones with clotted cream and jam, cucumber sandwiches (crustless, of course), cheese and pickles.
Heres another very British treat.
