On July 16th, 1988, Tokyo is engulfed in a massive explosion that obliterates the city, and starts World War III. In 2019, 31 years after the explosion, Tokyo is rebuilt as Neo-Tokyo.

The 1988 Laser Etched Type 3 Jacket takes inspiration from this day. An all-over pattern, laser etched onto 13oz denim, an effect that mirrors nuclear shadows; surfaces bleached or burnt by thermal radiation. This is a waterless process, the laser captures every detail with precision, offering a sustainable alternative to traditional denim finishing methods.
